As Mayor of the City of DuBois, I am pleased to extend a warm welcome to our official website.  It is
a great pleasure to serve such a fine City that I do believe is probably the "Greatest Little City" in the
entire country.

The City of DuBois has so much to offer.  Our Police Department is one of the finest in the Commonwealth
of Pennsylvania, along with our Volunteer Fire Department that has acquired an ISO rating of #1, which
is the only one in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and also one of only 30 in the entire country.  This
rating benefits us as citizens of the City by receiving reduced fire insurance rates.  Without a doubt they
would be much higher without this rating.

Our school systems are the best in the entire area, whether it is parochial or public, as well as our
technical schools and the Pennsylvania State University Campus.

DuBois is very fortunate to have such a fantastic hospital, DuBois Regional Medical Center, which has
become known as the "Heart Center" for quality medical care within an 80-mile radius.

Recreation facilities are top of the line, whether it is our new "Field Turf" football field or the best City
Park in the Tri-County area, along with a beautiful walkway used by thousands each and every year.

We are extremely fortunate to have the Reitz Theatre, fine eating establishments and a Public Library
used not only by residents of the City of DuBois, but those in the surrounding communities.

DuBois is a great place to live and raise children, and the quality of people make it a great place to own
and run your own business.  I'm proud to say "I'm from DuBois, Pennsylvania."
