City of DuBois is Mandated to Recycle

Act 101 of 1998 requires commercial, municipal and institutional establishments
located in Pennsylvania's mandated municipalities to recycle high-grade office
paper, corrugated paper, aluminum and leaf waste.  In addition, establishments
must recycle any other materials included in the municipality's recycling
ordinance or regulations, which includes glass, newspring, and #1 and #2
plastics.  Residences are required to recycle the same materials as listed above.

City of DuBois residents who are Veolia Environmental Services customers are
reminded that a dumpster is placed at the City Garage, 10 Parkway Drive, the
first Wednesday of every month, from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, for collection of
items too large to be placed at the curb.
